Moving in/ Finding couch

Tuesday night we stayed in another hotel and had a couple of beers at Vine Street Pub to relax. Wednesday we woke up and went straight to the school. We went our separate ways. Kevin to take his placement test and me to financial aid. We were at the college all day. When we left there we had to get some grub. Reivers is where we decided on. It is close to the apt., cool street in Wash Park, and it was happy hour. Next was to move in. Got to the leasing office of the apt. and it was to late nobody was there to give us our key. Tears in my eyes asked a lady that was cleaning up the office if she could help us. She made some calls and one of the girls that works there was able to come back and let us sign our lease and give us our keys!! By this time it was 7:30 and getting dark and we had nobody to help us move our stuff in. Needless to say the heavy stuff like the dresser and mattresses stayed in the Uhaul for the night and we made a palate on the floor to sleep on. Thursday we tried to get a couch. We found the perfect one on Craigslist!! We were on our way to meet the guy selling it and he asked if we could come later. Sure. Got back  in touch with him and he said 7. Alright! Then we got a text from him....Sorry but I sold the couch. By this time we had already found someone else on Craigslist that said he helped move furniture and was ready to meet us about 8. We hustled to find another couch so we would have someone help us move it in. We finally found another and went and got it. The guy from Craigslist helped us get the rest of our stuff in the apt. and gave Kevin some tips on some good bouldering spots to check out. Finally got to sleep in our own bed! This morning we woke up early went back to the college to get our student ids that get us on the bus for free by free I mean a mandatory $60 included in on your tuition. Walked downtown to 16th street to get some lunch after we got done at school. We went to Target after that and got some stuff for the apt and some school supplies. And now we are officially members of the Denver Public Library!! Hopefully getting outside this weekend. Pics of everything to come later!
