Getting Around

On Saturday we got outside, We went to Horsetooth Reservoir. It is a big lake at the foothills of the Rockies. It is steep getting down to the climbing.Kev went climbing and I just took it all in. It has a gorgeous view!! There were tons of boats with lots of families laughing and playing! It made me miss home a little. We will have to take pictures the next time we get out that way.  Kevin's first day of school was yesterday and mine is tomorrow. Kevin is taking nutrition, math, and English. He feels positive about them but is thinking that math is going to be the hardest for him. So today, we did a test run getting to the Lowry Campus where the Radiation Therapy program is held. We left at 6:05 AM to get there by 7:30. We missed the first bus on Colorado, we missed another bus on Mississippi, and finally caught a bus on Colorado!! We went down about 10 blocks and had to switch buses. We missed two there and then hopped on the wrong one. Hopped off it to walk in a big circle back to the bus station we were just at!! We decided to call it quits on the bus for the day when we spotted our bus. We had to run across two lanes of traffic much like 280 to chase our bus down!! We were persistent and finally made it to the campus. Whew! The route back went much better. We caught all the correct buses and made it home around 12. We were only at the college for about 10 minutes haha.  Later we rode our bikes to the rail system to go take care of some school business. The rail is much easier to figure out. We are loving public transportation and getting to ride our bikes everywhere. Kev's car has been parked for a couple of days now!! Our adventures are continuing but I guess it makes for good reading for everyone! haha
